How do I add photos to BabyBook.me without adding them to Facebook?

Famiva gives you the ability to store high definition photos privately and securely with BabyBook.me. Use the Famiva, Family Photos or Family Tree links from BabyBook.me to setup Famiva from within Facebook. Upload photos via the Family Photos link and they'll be available in BabyBook.me photo browser just like the Facebook photos. A big advantage of storing photos in Famiva is the ability to print these photos later in full size and resolution. Photos on Facebook are scaled down, therefore you can only print them at approx. 4x5 inches [1].

Alternatively, you can create a private album on Facebook and add selective photos to the book without exposing the album.

What are contributors and what can they do?

Contributors are friends with the permission to edit your book. You invite them under the "Invite" link for contributors - process is the same as inviting readers. Once invited, they will see your book under their "My Books" section with the "Edit" button enabled, and you will see their updates made to the book.

How do I remove or customize a field in the template?

To remove a field, simply skip it. Except for "Birth Facts", you can skip any field you like and it won't show when people read the book. To add your own fields, just add the field name and value to the free-form box (usually the bigger box at the bottom of most pages.)
